Hurricanes Hurricanes...

Hey all,

Boy this whole hurricane thing is getting monotonous. Especially when there's, well, no hurricane hitting. As I said for days, the effect hurricane Katrina was thought to have on us was O-VER-RA-TED. I knew not only was it not going to be powerful enough, but that we weren't going to take even near a direct hit. An extra jog south kept the power on for probably all of us. I was quite happy sleeping with air conditioner on Thursday night. However, we haven't even reached peak hurricane season, so we're not out of the woods yet. I've done most of my homework already, so I only have a little english and some marine studying left for tomorrow. Then Monday its back for another five day week. Including three even days, yikes. That means I have to end the day with AP English three times this week. I hope we'll at least get one class off before we get another novel. I've never had so much homework before, but I'm getting through it. Tonight, I hung with Kevan and John, and we played some baseball till it got dark. I'm hoping my love will come on soon because I miss her and want to talk to her. Hopefully, I'll see her soon. Anyways, I'm going to go get something to eat and maybe get a jump on homework for tomorrow till she's on. Tonight, no arguements. She's so much better than I realize. Till next time!
